Yoni is the only foal that we have retained that is sired by Shadow. She is a tall and elegant girl with terrific conformation and a very pretty head. She is black with a star, strip, snip and 2 hind socks. She should mature well over 15 hands and we hope to eventually do endurance with her.

Her barn name ~ Yoni ~ means a "new beginning", which seems appropriate as both of her parents have been sold. Here is part of what Wikipedia says: "It is also the divine passage, womb or sacred temple (cf. lila). The word covers a range of meanings, including: place of birth, source, origin, spring, fountain, place of rest, repository, receptacle, seat, abode, home, lair, nest, stable. In Hindu philosophy, according to Tantra, yoni is the origin of life. The yoni is also considered to be an abstract representation of Shakti and Devi, the creative force that moves through the entire universe."
