Moon is a GORGEOUS minimal sabino colt with a star, strip, snip and upper lip, plus 2 hind socks and belly spots. He also has a skunk tail and is likely to be an extreme rabicano like his momma! He has an exquisite head with tippy ears and is as friendly as you could ask for! While he doesn't have as much white as we expected, we are still thrilled with the quality of this boy!
The story behind his name: As I walked out of the front door at 5am to go feed breakfast to the girls in the barn, I had to stop and take in the beautiful morning that was beginning. The full moon was hanging low to the west, with a rainbow around it due to the light mist that had settled on the hills. It was cool, crisp and the air smelled clean and fresh. I then went into the barn, fed breakfast and was cleaning stalls when Silk decided to present us with this special boy. I was amazed at how much he reminds me of his grand-sire, Kumars Night Legacy. When I put everything together, his name just seemed to present itself, and so, he is Legacy's Morning Moon!
