Desiree was an older mare when she came to us to see if she could contribute to our program. Desi had 9 registered purebred foals, 7 black and 2 chestnut, many of whom have more white than either parent. She had four white socks (low) and no face markings. Desi was an worth the extra feed and effort that she needed to keep her happy and healthy and was an absolute joy to have had in our lives. She was a grand and regal mare who just KNEW she was special! She was a wonderful mother and seems to have passed her incredible disposition on to many of her foals. Her final foal, a son, will be used in our program in the future so that we can keep this very special mare's lines alive.
