Camera Locations: We have outside cameras to watch the expectant mares in nice weather, but they will be inside in inclement weather. If the mares (that are due soon) are not in the stalls, we most likely have them outside for some excercise, or just in another stall briefly while their regular stall is being cleaned. Not all mares will be on camera for foaling.

Our farm preference: Please call only if you see the foal coming out, or the mare is down and PUSHING with all 4 legs extended (and awake), and no one is in the barn with her. We will not always go into the stall unless needed. There is always someone nearby, but we might not always be able to reach the phone. Please do NOT call just to tell us that the mare looks like she is close to foaling. We watch our mares very closely and are well aware of their behaviors.

Camera interference: The cameras sometimes have some interference as they are wireless cams inside a metal barn. If there is extensive interference, please be patient and it will usually go away soon. Both the cordless telephone and the microwave mess up the cameras, but they aren't used for long periods at once, so should clear up quickly.

	Pending Foal (SH-Desert Victory x ASA Onyx Fire) September 2011 Bay Foal Nitemare was bred in hand to Vic in July, but checked open in early August. She was placed back into the pen with Vic in October, and confirmed in foal in January. We ASSUMED that she was bred by Vic in October, although we never SAW her get bred after her last date in hand in July. The day that we THOUGHT that we saw her in heat was 11/1 and her last 2 foals were carried 327 and 321 days. Nitemare has moderate bagging right now
