Camera Locations: We have outside cameras to watch the expectant mares in nice weather, but they will be inside in inclement weather. If the mares are not in the stalls, we most likely have them outside for some excercise, or just in another stall briefly while their regular stall is being cleaned.

Our farm preference: Please call if you see the foal coming out, or the mare is down and PUSHING with all 4 legs extended (and awake), and no one is in the barn with her. We will not alway go into the stall unless needed. There is always someone nearby, but we might not always be able to reach the phone.

Camera interference: The cameras almost always have SOME interference as they are wireless cams inside a metal barn. If there is extensive interference, just be patient and it will usually go away soon. Both the cordless telephone and the microwave mess up the cameras, but they aren't used for long periods at once, so should clear up quickly.

Harvest Moonsong (Saba Mashaali x ASA Onyx Fire) October 18, 2008 Black Filly Nitemare had a beautiful homozygous black filly for us! Boo has a high stocking on her one front leg that ends just shy of her knee. Her other front has a sock to mid-pastern, with a mid-canon sock on one hind and a partial coronet on the other. She has a star, a snip, and lower lip white as well. She appears as though she may have a white "zipper" on her belly, but it is hard to be sure with the foal coat. Boo is being retained for our program.
